Frequently asked questions
Delivery the NEXT DAY is something we are proud to offer. Our yards normally hold a sizable inventory of all different types of shipping containers, allowing us to handle your order as soon as we receive it. Delivery is frequently scheduled for the next business day. The exception is modified containers, which are produced to order and have a production time of two to three weeks.
For a 20′ container, the vehicle will require at least 60 feet of straight-line clearance.
For a 40′ container, the vehicle will require at least 110 feet of straight-line clearance.
The breadth must be 12 feet in order for the delivery to be simple and secure
Our cargo containers are transported to their locations using flatbed trucks. In order to make the containers ready for transport, we load them onto the trucks with a few feet hanging outside. The driver will elevate the trailer around 15 feet in the air when they arrive by backing their vehicle into the delivery spot. When the portion of the container dangling off touches the ground, they will slide the truck’s bed rearward. The truck will then be driven straight out of the water by the driver.
Before claiming your storage container, kindly take the following into account:
Surface: As long as the ground is not too soft, we may install a container securely on a variety of surfaces, including pavement, concrete, gravel, and even dirt. However, owing to potential problems including probable area damage and long-term ground instability that might cause the container’s position to change, we highly advise against installing it on grass. Before beginning any surface preparations, the chosen place should be quite level.
Accessibility: Make sure there are no obstacles in the way of anyone who needs to be delivered, as well as in front of and surrounding the designated container drop site.
Additional considerations: Although placing the container on elevated concrete, wood or railway ties is not required, we are willing to do so if you like.
Please be aware that BARRIE will not try to pick up your container if it is frozen or coated with snow. Please make sure that the container is entirely accessible and not frozen to the ground before requesting equipment removal to avoid paying additional transportation costs for a failed pickup.
All container sizes require a minimum rental length of TWO months.
