We provide a large assortment of high-quality secondhand shipping containers at BARRIE Containers that may be used to meet a variety of storage needs. The 10-foot, 20-foot, and 40-foot variations of our most popular pieces are included in this.
Our used container units normally have a lifespan of 12 to 15 years, solid plywood floors, working doors, locking handles, minor dings, and light surface rust. Our used units are cargo-worthy and wind- and water-tight.
The smallest used container size we provide right now is 10′ in length. This container has been modified and is not the length of a typical shipping container. It is a used 20′ container that has been chopped, painted, and closed with OEM panels. This little container costs more than a 20-foot regular sea container because of the additional effort and materials needed. This unit’s reduced size makes it perfect for transportable storage in limited areas. A less costly option that provides more simple access inside and facilitates loading and unloading of cargo is a 10-foot container with roll-up doors.
A wide choice of standard and specialized container units is available in the 20-foot used container portfolio. Our most popular unit is a conventional 20-foot secondhand shipping container since it has plenty of storage space. It also fits in the majority of customer areas and is the simplest to move. We also provide 20′ open top shipping containers with tarp covers that enable heavy machinery or storage goods to be placed into the container from the top. Usually, this is applied to extremely specialized storage applications. These highly specialized containers have detachable front and rear walls and no side walls. These containers are ideal for carrying unusual machinery and gear.
We also provide operational and non-operational reefer containers for storage that requires strict temperature control. The walls of the non-operational refrigerated shipping containers still have reefer container insulation, but the refrigeration unit has been taken out and the seals replaced. The cooling and temperature-controlling capabilities of typical 20′ reefer containers are retained together with their functional refrigerated unit.

Similar to the 20′ container lineup, the 40′ container lineup includes flat racks, open top, reefer, and insulated containers in addition to normal height 40′ and 40′ high cube units. The advantage of 40 containers is that they provide double the container’s useable length for a ton of extra storage.
We also have the extra big 45′ shipping container available in the used container category. It is our largest container at the moment, with more space inside for storage or item transportation. These 45′ high cube containers are weather-sealed and in good enough condition for freight, much like the rest of our containers.
Our website has a section on clearance containers when we’re talking about used containers. These are either cargo containers that are hardly available or ones with little damage. Our clearance containers are sold in their current condition, but typically for less money than our cargo-worthy alternatives. The cost is determined by the types of damage that are present on the container, and in most cases, there are excellent replacements available for a reasonable price.
